I am happy to share that I was certified by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, after completing the Leadership Course (DLA Piper’s Global Scholarship Program). This course was really challenging because we were given the opportunity of working hardly and put into practice different tip's of Leadership and by yourself discover what kind of Leadership better characterize you. We had also the opportunity to identify what are the pros and cons of each type of Leadership and how we can manage the disadvantages of our leadership style. By now I would like to share some important points that can be useful: 1. Leadership can start anywhere; 2. We do not need a position to be leading; 3. To be leader does not mean to be a "superhero" or omniscient; 4. Carry a position of Leadership means to be ready for challenges that may appear anytime; 5. As leader's we have to be self-aware; 6. Sometimes our position of Leadership will necessary mean to take a decision after collecting important insights from our team; meaning that we won't always have the best solutions, so we must be sufficiently humble and open minded to understand it and admit; 7. The great leaders that we know, what we see is just the "top of the iceberg", because maybe what we do not see can involve big sacrifices, ups and downs, failure's, courage to deal with hard situations, persistence and assume challenging routines; 8. And, the last but not least, leadership is about giving yourself for others and give the opportunity for other people to enhance their capacities and habilities. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude first for the the DLA Piper team represented by Mthusi Morebodi and Lucy Umney, Claire Donse, Jon Hayes (he/him/his), the Oxford team represented by Ursula Flórido, the facilitators Simon Lau and Abiodun Michael Olatokun FRSA, then to the C4 fellows that I had the honor to make part, Miantsa Miangola, Talitha-Kumi Geparo and also for those who are direct or indirectly involved and contributed to make this project possible.❤️ #leadership #course #saidbusinessschool #oxforduniversity #dlapiper #gsprogram

Embark on a transformative journey with the Cologne-Rotterdam EMBA Programme! 🌍 Today, we are giving insights into a special element of our EMBA programme - The Leadership Expedition in Norway. This unique experience caps off the EMBA experience, allowing our students to apply their acquired skills in an outdoor setting. 🏕 Here, they transform the knowledge they gained during two years of Personal Leadership Development (PLD) into real-world practice and have the opportunity to reflect on the transformative journey of the past two years. The PLD is a unique blend of personal coaching, intensive workshops and customised assessment tools, tailored to unlock the full leadership potential of each student. 🌱 During this immersive expedition, our EMBA students form teams, in which they hike through stunning landscapes, forge deeper connections, and push themselves to their limits. 🏞 While this study trip concludes the PLD journey within the EMBA, the established skills and discovered strengths become invaluable assets for a lifetime. To quote PLD Professor Hannes Leroy: “Your leadership journey starts with two years interspersed during the Executive MBA, but should last a lifetime and aims to create forces for positive change - generating impact in those areas of work life that matter most to you." #leadership #journey #expedition #norway #emba #ucbs #management #transformative #executivemba #skills

2023 offered me the greatest lessons of Leadership, beyond Leadership being just concept to Leadership being a lifestyle, therefore a daily decision. I have the deepest curiosity about leadership,I believe I am a lifelong student. I had the greatest and humbling opportunities to be on the forefront of some exciting initiatives in leadership # The Young leaders summit, #The leadership Masterclasses with our University, …to name a few. I also had an opportunity to run #iseeyou session with @nandeboss. One key lesson, Leaders are human! Being human takes humility, authenticity and courage. You never arrive as a human, we are comfortable to constantly grow-‘to grow is to learn’.In being a human there is always a next level. We have to always create a room for growth. To lead well you have to live well. To live well covers values, ethics however, it also stretches to taking care of yourself, communing well and accepting imperfections, the list is endless. Feels like when amours are put down, when we feel safe and we dare greatly… we lead well! Therefore we are not talking about Servant Leadership as another type of Leadership, but the only way “to lead is to serve”. We do not talk about leading from the Heart as an option, but the only way. We do not talk about Leaders being vulnerable, we allow Leaders to be human- as human, to feel is not weak, Emotions are part of us! Here is to the safest spaces to be human beings, spaces to lead well and a happy 2024 #youngleaderssummit #leadershipmasterclass #leadership #human #iseeyou #trgc #conversations

Director Informal Sector & Special Duties, LIRS ►ForbesBlk, Tax Regulation, Tax Compliance& Revenue Generation | Tax Enforcement | Data Analytics| Digital Marketing | SEO
I just completed a course titled “Achieving Leadership Excellence” at the London School of Economics and Political Science. LSE The course afforded me the opportunity to re-evaluate my leadership skills& style to see if it was fit for current day purpose. Discussions during the course bordered on leadership in organizations &the styles used in our various organizations. I was able to hone my unique leadership style which I believe is more of influence &minimal use of authority when needed. I learnt&understood the power of transformational leadership. We discussed organizational culture, leadership& that they go hand in glove most times.I believe the knowledge garnered will help me create positive, healthy& result oriented culture shifts within my team &the organization. The diversity&network of participants was very rich with each participant bringing their unique perspectives&leadership experience to the table. Learning from &collaborating with such a diverse group of participants was a value add to my training. Some of the learning curves covered by the course were: *Organizational leadership and culture *Leading Change and change leadership. *Leadership in organizations. *Developing your leadership style. *Becoming a transformational leader. I’m grateful for the LIRS position on training. I appreciate my tutors at LSE: Dr. Emma Soane, Connson Locke and the academic team for a transformational teaching and for sharing their experience to give perspective to the benefits& challenges of leadership. Now it’s time to apply what I learnt for better team work and optimal revenue generation by the LIRS. #LSE #LIRS #LASG #executivelearning #corporategovernance #leadership #leadershipbyinfluence

⭐ Educational Consultant, Trainer and Coach | PGCE, MA, ICF Coach, SFHEA | Sustainable professional development for leaders and educators in further and higher education
⭐ Leadership In and Beyond Learning Development: How Do You Do It? It was really good to attend the Association of Learning Development in HE regional event last week. There were some great workshops by Avril Buchanan, Gerard Devney, Julie Taylor, Jennie Blake and Rebecca Howarth, sharing insights, practice and case studies. Really enjoyed the sandpit activities and agony roulette! Interesting takeways included: ✅ To what extent organisational cultures in HE are authoritarian vs democratic? ✅ How can we best respond to the push vs pull of strategic vs operational demands? ✅ Better strategic thinking ➡️ better decision making ✅ Hierarchical leadership vs influence (and how to have more influence through collective effort) ✅ Collective effort can create ➡️ a gravitational pull which can lead to ➡️ more impact ✅ The value of coaching interventions as a means of supporting staff stepping into management This kind of leadership exchange is so valuable. How can we facilitate more of it? #university #highereducation #HE #Strategicleadership #heleaders #LearningDevelopment

After four weeks of engaging workshops and interactive exercises, I completed the Europe101 Leadership Programme, here is the proof 🙂 While normally many on social media would say otherwise, the programme didn't transform my life or my leadership skills, as that wasn't its intended aim👌 💪 More than anything, Europe101 provided me with a space to reflect and network with fellow 'Liquid' leaders. Also it was inspiring to hear from leaders who are making a tangible difference in their fields already. 💡 For me, the greatest takeaway was realising that despite our diverse backgrounds and being under 25, we all have significant contributions to make to the world. There's a great value in the experience and wisdom of the generation that came before me, however, what my generation can offer to the world is a fresh perspectives, drive, and passion. This blend allows us to approach challenges with a unique vigor, unrestrained by bureaucracy or fear, which often comes as a side effect of experience. 😎 I would highly recommend all under 25s around Europe to apply for the programme - "Europe101 is a free online programme, which convenes diverse groups of modern leaders, aged 18-25, challenging you to think through what sort of leaders your generation want to be and giving you the skills to become them. Because after all, you are the generation who will shape Europe 100 years on." #leadership #LiquidLeadership #drivengeneration #futureleaders Common Purpose

A recent Center for Creative Leadership survey of 500 senior leaders found that innovation is a key driver of success for 94% of organizations, and stated that an innovation mindset includes curiosity, the ability to defer judgment, tolerance for ambiguity, courage, attentiveness, and grasp of polarities. Help measure and build an #innovationmindset inside your organization by incorporating the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile® (EMP), an empirically-backed online #assessmenttool and development guide that can be used with individuals and teams. Skills and traits such as Idea Generation, Risk Acceptance, Future Focus, Preference for Limited Structure and Execution are some of the 14 scales the EMP explores. The EMP was developed by the Leadership Development Institute at Eckerd College (LDI), a Network Associate of CCL. For more information, visit https://lnkd.in/gBvYxE2E to learn how you can incorporate this powerful development tool to enhance your workforce. https://ow.ly/cNqg50QocPP
