@unod Pakistan there is urgent need for prison reforms in pakistan to address over crowding. The situation is not ideal. It is matter of human rights as well. It is also essental to decelop sentencing guidelines where putting suspects and accused in prisons should be the last option. There are no set guidelines for under for suspects and trial prisoners. We also need protocols on pre arrest and post arrest bails and prisons. European External Action Service #dfid

One of the rights of the prisoners is education and skill learning to make them useful citizen and part of community. The prisons administration must focus on education and lifelong skills.

International human rights organizations must be allowed to visit Israeli prisons where Palestinians (without trial) are kept in an environment that is worse than animals.
