University of Rochester Medical Center’s Post

Big news! We revealed the area’s first walk-in mental health urgent care for young people 18 and under. Opening on July 15, Brighter Days Pediatric Mental Health Urgent Care will allow children and adolescents to show up with no prior appointment to get care. “There are no clinics like this outside of the New York City region, and we’re thrilled that we will be able to provide this vital service for thousands of children in Western New York," said Michael Scharf, MD, psychiatrist-in-chief at GCH. Well needed within our community ! Now if we could just have some facilities for 18 within our region.

This is such an important facility and our firm is honored to have been a part of it! 💛

This is amazing news! What a wonderful resource for Rochester area families and minors.

Great news for children and adolescents struggling with their mental wellness! We can never have enough mental health care resources for our children. 🙏

This is fabulous and a much-needed service for our community

This is wonderful, and as a community let’s help our young people seek the help they need. It has been a rough four years for them, let alone all the other pressures in life.🙏 I am proud to be a vendor partner with URMC!
