Last Friday I spoke about some regional heroes - today the focus moves to those champions who have been coordinating the requirements of large complex businesses, navigating local challenges, local regulations, and also in many cases challenges with their own local IT teams. Stuart Cameron - Working in the London Market which is very different from the continental insurance market, especially as Generali is not a market leader. He has always remained positive, entertaining and pragmatic to ensure the UKB is well represented within the design phase. The collaboration between the various functions has been brilliant. (he did have some help from Gilles Meier - but I do not want to give too much credit 😉 ) Vincent Fleutre & Salman Tariq - If we could use the term best practice about all functional engagement, communication of changes, focus of defect resolution and general awareness approach of AGORA. These guys are stars - pushing, challenging but always first with solutions, capacity and realistic expectations. I look forward to improving AGORA with these guys onboard. Next we move to Germany Joselito Fernandez - who is a recent joiner to Generali Global Corporate & Commercial! What a baptism of fire, just joined and you have the fantastic opportunity to coordinate the German effort for the largest and most complex project in GC&C history? Not only that, you on board Austria midway through the project. Brilliant effort! Finally our largest entity in GC&C - GC&C Italy! For me, this has been a fantastic opportunity to meet more people, understand the way our Italian business works, and understand some fundamental challenges that we face in a very complex work environment. Well done to Claudia Meroni and Kim Pacini who are pushing collaboration, breaking down siloes, and supporting a new way to work. It is great to see the interactions of all functions of the policy lifecycle come to life through this project. We now enter the final week of the project before the release. I do not know what this will bring, but rest assured - My team and I will face them head-on, with determination to overcome anything and everything that might stand in the way of releasing AGORA on time, on budget, on plan! #finalpush #businesschange #letsmakeadifference #smallchangesbigimpact #servicewithexcellence

Proud to see our partners on screen! Eugen Anicescu - CEO, Aon Romania was a guest on the AGXECUTIVE Podcast to compare traditional insurance with parametric insurance with Florin CONSTANTIN. Beyond the insurance landscape, they explored the dynamic business trends within the agricultural sector, the farmer’s vulnerabilities, and the pivotal role played by comprehensive insurance in safeguarding their enterprises. Eugen Anicescu: „In the agricultural sector, there is a need for collective insurance through collective efforts and funds pooled together to purchase coverage collectively, to be used in the sector's various situations. There are parametric solutions integrated into other markets that we could specifically adopt, given the ever-changing climate of the insurance market. A challenge in the sector is that insurance is highly selective, covering only risks in heavily affected areas and largely neglecting those in less affected areas.” Curious about the perspectives that could reshape the future of insurance in the agricultural domain? ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gndA5NHQ #JuneCommunications #Aon #AonRomania #Partners #Insurance #AgriculturalField

Had an incredible time at Insurtech Insights yesterday, where I had the privilege of being on a panel discussing Unleashing Growth. It was truly inspiring to see the remarkable work being done by industry leaders in finding insurance solutions A special shoutout to Mikir Shah of Africa Specialty Risks for his impressive efforts in driving insurance innovation in Africa. The work he is doing is truly remarkable and serves as an inspiration to us all. I also want to acknowledge Kshitij A. for his valuable partnership with Africa Specialty Risks. The collaboration between Anand and ASR is making a significant impact, and it was an honour to share the panel with Mikir Shah and witness their collective expertise. A big thank you to Hayley Maynard, Ph.D. for bringing such vibrant energy to the conference. Her analogy of Innovation being like swinging from El Capitan in Yosemite was both captivating and thought-provoking. It's individuals like Hayley Maynard, Ph.D. who inject passion and excitement into the industry. Last but not least, a heartfelt appreciation to Richard Chattock for moderating the panel. Richard, you did an exceptional job in guiding the discussion and ensuring a productive and engaging session.
