At UNIQA 4WARD, we are committed to fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace culture where every team member feels valued and empowered. That is why we introduced three new benefits since the start of the year. They are the direct result of a series of collaboration workshops with our employees held last year. 🏅 Retention rewards: Loyalty deserves recognition. That's why introduced retention rewards to honor our long-term team members. Dedication and hard work don't go unnoticed. 🛍️ Cafeteria benefit system: Understanding the diversity of personal preferences, we now offer every employee a budget for personal needs, allowing them to tailor their benefits according to their individual requirements. 🤒 Sick days: Recognizing the importance of well-being, we now provide our employees with up to 3 sick days per year, ensuring they have the necessary time to rest when feeling under the weather. We believe that a supportive and rewarding workplace culture is the foundation for success, and we're excited to continue this journey together. #UNIQA4WARD #EmployeeBenefits #WorkplaceWellness #CompanyCulture

I’ve had lots of interest in this original post, and heaps of great questions about the motivation for (and benefits of) the changes we made. One of the highlights of the work we did on transparent remuneration and rewards calculations was when we simulated how the model corrects for gender (and other unjustified) pay gaps. We deliberately recruit for diversity, and a key motivation behind the many process changes was ensuring that those less confident or capable of having tricky conversations about pay weren’t disadvantaged. Transparency has proven to be an essential part of the solution. #WayfinderAwards #SouthernCross #Leadership #BusinessAwards #WorkplaceWellbeing
I've only now had a chance to reflect on an incredible week. I am extremely proud to share that I won GOLD at the Southern Cross Wayfinder Awards on Tuesday evening. Winning an individual award when you like to think of yourself as a servant leader is a bit awkward tbh - but I can’t imagine an award I’d rather win than one that recognises efforts to improve health and wellbeing. The award is recognition and validation of many changes we’ve implemented at PaperKite, driven by our belief that what’s better for people is better for business. Our initiatives include: ➧ More compassionate sick leave policies ➧ Improved wages for support teams and suppliers ➧ A dual leadership approach with coaches and discipline leads ➧ Adopting best practices from product management and agile methodologies ➧ Performance reviews that feel like celebrations ➧ Transparent remuneration and reward calculations Our culture and engagement has never been stronger, and I personally have never been happier at work. Learn more about our journey here: https://lnkd.in/gtv642gB The day of the award ceremony was a rollercoaster, with fog trapping me and my senior leadership team colleagues Barney Vollans and Priya Bhana in Wellington. We missed the awards ceremony! The day definitely improved when we heard the result, but we were still disappointed to have missed the opportunity to spend the night with a group of fantastic values-aligned humans! A heartfelt thank you to Southern Cross Health Insurance for creating these awards, and for highlighting the importance of wellbeing. Since receiving the award, I've connected with many who share a passion for leadership and creating environments where people can be their best. A special thanks to my colleague and dear friend Priya Bhana for the nomination. I am so lucky to work with you! Here's to creating workplaces where everyone can thrive. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss leadership and wellbeing initiatives! #WayfinderAwards #SouthernCross #Leadership #BusinessAwards #WorkplaceWellbeing

We asked Jose Bachoir, our bilingual Business Development expert on what working for BHN means to him and why our Hawk Appreciation Days (extra days off during the year to do something you fancy) are important. Here's what he said - thank you, Jose. "Working for BHN always feels extremely rewarding, their employee-centric approach offers a positive and healthy work environment both at home and the office. "The flexible working style promotes a healthy lifestyle, for me that includes regular dog walks and being able to exercise before and after work. It's empowering to know that the company values our well-being beyond the office walls. The icing on the cake is the Hawk Appreciation Days, which provide a much-needed break to disconnect and recharge. "Hawk Appreciation Days not only show BHN's appreciation for our hard work but also demonstrate their genuine concern for our overall well-being. Working for BHN feels like being part of a supportive team that truly cares about its employee's happiness and work-life balance." #employeeengagement #staffsatisfaction #employeereward #employeeincentive #salesincentive #sales

Things your employees couldn't care less about. No one picks a pizza party over an extra day off. Swag and holiday parties? Nice, but not what truly keeps employees happy. In 2024, what really matters: 1. Flexible, guilt-free schedules: ability to maintain a balanced life. 2. Empathetic, supportive management. 3. A voice that’s heard and valued. 4. Opportunities for growth to foster career growth. 5. Beyond insurance, think gym memberships, mental health resources BONUS: Most obvious one, being paid fairly! Rethink your perks. Give employees what they truly value.

Selecting an employer is just as important as being the employee in the selection process. Often people are taken advantage of during negotiations for being unemployed or under employed. Employers will ask why do you want to work for them, and this is one of my favorite questions to answer. Employees will fade away from mentioning schedule flexibility in order to manage their busy family life. Accepting employment is always a two way street that needs to be a fit for both parties. Limit turnover by working with your candidates, a happy associate performs at a significantly higher standard.

Absolutely! A mentor once shared a valuable insight: interviews aren't just about landing the job—they're an opportunity to evaluate a company's culture and determine the right fit. I am interviewing them just as much as they are interviewing me. #jobhunting #interviewtips #positiveworkplace

🔥Reward Gateway Edenred has just released a new brand campaign in the UK ! 🎯I think the spirit of this campaign perfectly reflects our purpose. It is about: 👉 Valuing workers 👉 Rewarding them for their work 👉 Creating a culture of recognition 👉 Companies expressing gratitude to their employees It highlights the concept of « Appreciation ». And Appreciation matters. In personal life of course, but in professional environment as well. Being appreciated for who you are is a human fundamental needs. And when people feel appreciated, their personal well-being improves, their self-confidence increases, and ultimately their business performances 🚀 👨💻Researchers have found that people who are recognized are 23% more productive. And those who are truly valued are 43% more effective. 🏆Since the acquisition of Reward Gateway last year, Edenred is now disrupting the market by offering the most complete suit of solutions to foster employee Appreciation. So yes, this campaign truly embodies what we do everyday: we support companies to improve the lives of employees and their families 💫
