Today we are celebrating Employee Appreciation Day and we wanted to take a moment to say thank you and show our appreciation to all our amazing colleagues for their hard work, dedication and commitment to Uniphar. We really appreciate everything that you do for our patients, our customers and for each other. Thank crunchie its Friday and don't worry if you didn't make it into the office today because of the snow, your treat will still be there on Monday. 👏 ❄ #EmployeeAppreciationDay2024#ThankYouTeam#Uniphar#sneachta!

I understand that employee appreciation is important but you are spoiling and borderline smothering your employees with affection. The only time it is appropriate to give gifts of this magnitude is when the company has a record breaking quarter or perhaps when the company goes public. But it's really never necessary. Sure, you might think giving them a some chocolate is harmless but guess what they will expect moving forward... MORE chocolate. Soon they'll be asking for better benefits then next thing you know they're asking for a raise. You can probably see where this would lead and it's obviously nowhere good. My recommendation is to never praise your employees. Their paycheck is good enough. Hope this helps! Cheers, Sween
