"Do we want to sit back and wait and see what everyone else is doing? Or do we want to move forward?" We rolled out Copilot to all Uniper employees earlier this year, and now we’re already seeing boosted efficiency as a result. Our new video blog looks at how Copilot and generative AI has helped make internal audit processes more productive, improving output quality, and informing new perspectives. Click the link below to watch the discussion with our CIO Damian Bunyan and our SVP Audit Operations, HSSE & Sustainability Egemen Hartmut Lipinski 👇 Have you experienced success harnessing generative AI? To improve, you have to be able to make mistakes. We believe in a culture of positive failure, where innovation is promoted, new ideas are encouraged, and learning is continuous. Starting from the top. At our Operational Excellence Conference, CEO Michael Lewis shared his own stories of experiencing failure, emphasising the importance of cultivating a positive failure culture in order to achieve progress. We encourage employees to pursue new ideas and paths, and see failure as essential on the journey to success. Here’s why a positive failure culture is important for Uniper: – It fosters innovation, allowing us to discover groundbreaking solutions in the energy transition. – It boosts continuous learning. Analysing and learning from failures means more informed decisions. – It builds resilience and creativity. This turns setbacks into energy for renewed determination and creative solutions. Failure is ultimately the beginning of valuable insights, and only with a positive failure culture is it possible to welcome change and build future success! Do you have any examples where learning from failure created success? Let us know in the comments! #thebeatingheartofenergy #innovation

⚽ Football's Energy – At UEFA Euro 2024 we've joined hands in solidarity with seven German energy companies and Naftogaz of Ukraine to welcome Ukrainian veterans, as well as children of soldiers who lost their lives. The group travelled from Ukraine to attend their national team’s 3 Group Stage matches in Munich, Düsseldorf, and Stuttgart, cheer them on, and celebrate the unifying spirit of sport. Let’s take time to appreciate the joy and unity that football can bring, and Ukraine’s great efforts in Group E. These nights are a symbol of hope and resilience. #UEFAEuro2024 #TheBeatingHeartOfEnergy
