More than 700 scientists and experts are calling on President Biden and Congress to cancel the Sentinel program and retire the US land-based missile force. Doing so would save Americans more than $100 billion and make the world safer as these missiles put a target on communities out West. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eQ5GNMVs

Why is Germany buying nearly 1000 AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM)....? This makes no sense. It even threatens our european know-how. "While the AMRAAM has a greater peak velocity, the result of rapid acceleration likely to be more than Mach 4, the solid propellant burns out comparatively quickly even with a boost-sustain motor configuration when compared to a ramjet. The Meteor’s ramjet is thought to have fuel to operate for at least 60 seconds and a faster average speed." "Lockheed Martin may have adopted some form of boost-coast-boost configuration for the AIM-260 motor, possibly with a higher-energy propellant than previous generations of solid motors. Even so, it remains questionable whether this would provide a similar overall performance to a Meteor-class missile." https://lnkd.in/eiquszPk

Is the #Zumwalt cursed again to be a toothless tiger. After having its long range gun pulled to make room for the new #hypersonic #missile being developed by the Army, will it have no ammo. The #USArmy has aborted a planned test to launch the Dark Eagle hypersonic missile https://lnkd.in/gURY8fpD from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. https://lnkd.in/geJAyxCn This follows the scrubbing of what was expected to be the first test launch of one of these weapons. The test comes amid the US Army’s long-standing goal to field the first operational Dark Eagles before the end of this year. The Office of the Secretary of Defence (OSD) confirmed that the test had been aborted. However, Washington hasn’t revealed the reason behind cancelling the test launch. The statement from OSD is identical to the one that it put out after the decision to scrub the first scheduled Dark Eagle test launch in March. Is the US military facing issues to clear its Dark Eagle Hypersonic missile? The Russians are crowing at another US failure in hypersonic tech "According to the media, the decision raises questions about the program’s schedule and whether the US Army can meet its goal of declaring the weapon initially combat capable by September 30" https://lnkd.in/gJxC-c77

Interesting statements in this article, along with the suprise that Russia destroyed a Patriot system in Ukraine. As far as the comments that the Patriot System is antiquated, must be from individuals who have never lived under the threat of ballistic or Air breathing threats that can kill from miles (sometimes 100’s of miles away). The Patriot Missile System (one of the most combat proven AMD systems in the world) and subsequent LTAMDS with significant capability improvements over Patriot, will continue to lead the way for saving designated Air and Missile Defense Defended Assets around the world. Winning and each combat engagement proves it!

Germany and the entire EU are preparing for war not peace! Jeffrey Sachs: PM Orban is the only European leader with a realistic view of the situation in Ukraine PM Orban is the only European leader who sees the situation in Ukraine realistically, world-renowned American economist Jeffrey Sachs told our newspaper in a recent interview. The professor at Columbia University spoke about the possibilities of peace in Ukraine, Kyiv's NATO membership, and the agony of the world order led by the United States. Without question this war could have been avoided. US diplomats warned Presidents from Clinton onward against NATO enlargement to Ukraine and Georgia. As late as December, 2021, Russia put forward proposals to avoid the war in a Draft US-Russia Treaty on Security Guarantees. At the core of the draft treaty was an end to NATO enlargement. There were other issues raised by Russia, involving the placement of troops and military bases, and the deployment of nuclear weapons. These too merited negotiations, though the US clearly would not have accepted some of Russia’s draft proposals. The bottom line for Russia was US respect for Russia’s national security, which was threatened in Russia’s realistic view, by NATO enlargement. − Stoltenberg has been the lead cheerleader of NATO enlargement, together of course with the UK, which is historically filled with Russophobia, and alongside US hardline neoconservatives. Stoltenberg seems to believe that such cheerleading is his job as NATO Secretary-General. In my view, Stoltenberg has been deeply irresponsible. Russia will never accept NATO enlargement to Ukraine. Either it will defeat Ukraine outright on the battlefield, or it will continue fighting a long war of attrition, or it will escalate to nuclear weapons if threatened with military defeat. Nuclear warheads? Just over 6.000 no worries ! The USA had fun when they destroyed northstream 2 and could replace the Russian Gas 😂 BRICS is now growing stronger and stronger While the NATO will have problems if more and more nations don’t want to pay for proxy wars Orban Erdogan just the first to resign from paying for Biden’s war games ! "Until comprehensive, sustainable peace is established in Palestine, attempts at cooperation with Israel within NATO will not be approved by Turkey," Erdogan said at a news conference at the NATO summit. Turkey also continues its diplomatic efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war, he said.
First Berlin let’s the Washington blow up Nordstream2, now it let’s it establish bases for long-range missiles on German territory. This is another unnecessary escalation and provocation towards Russia for which Germans, not Americans will pay the price for. […] The United States will begin episodic deployments of the long-range fires capabilities of its Multi-Domain Task Force in Germany in 2026, as part of planning for enduring stationing of these capabilities in the future. When fully developed, these conventional long-range fires units will include SM-6, Tomahawk, and developmental hypersonic weapons, which have significantly longer range than current land-based fires in Europe. I call this new US Navy missile the Phoenix missile "replacement". It's interesting that it can be guided, after launch, by seemingly a variety of systems including E-2D, AWACS, F-35, and AEGIS. Video runs 6:58 #HypersonicMissileDefense #China #DF17 #PL17 #USA #USNavy #NAIM174B "The key to prevailing against the PLAN in any scenario, whether it has to do with defending Taiwan or containing their influence inside the second island chain in the Pacific, is disrupting their “kill chain,” defined as a sequence of tactical steps or processes in which weaponry finds, engages, and kills targets. Obviously, it’s a problem if the American fighters charged with protecting the aircraft carrier by shooting down Chinese fighters before the get into firing range are “out-sticked” by a factor of 100 percent, roughly 125 miles. That calculus won’t disrupt a key element in PLAN’s aircraft carrier-directed kill chain. Evidence has recently emerged that the U.S. Navy is taking deliberate steps to alter that part of the kill chain equation. As reported by our friends at The War Zone, a new weapon has been spotted under the wings of F/A-18E and F model Super Hornets participating in this year’s Rim of the Pacific or RIMPAC exercise in and around Hawaii."

🚀 Wow: russian missile intercepted by #Ukraine right over Dnipro city. A shopping mall was hit 💔 🤔 The missile was said to target Ukrainian aerospace manufacturer Yuzhmash, who produces spacecraft, rockets and industrial products like tractors. But the Yuzhmash plant has been closed since 2022. So the ruzzians are just bombing empty factories and civilian homes...again. Reports say a shopping mall was hit. Children are amongst the victims. 💥 It looks like the invaders fired multiple missiles, as although this first one got intercepted, we later see multiple smoke clouds in later footage. This is why Russia stocks up on missiles to momentarily overwhelm air defense systems in massive attack waves, 💡 As #USA Patriots can intercept practically any russian missile, But in a swarm, it's hard to intercept EVERY missile. ☝️ This is why Ukraine so badly needs more Patriot launch systems as well as ammunition. Rough coordinates of the attack: 📍 48.434000, 34.997000 #OSINT #Intelligence #StandWithUkraine 🇺🇦
