Unigroup cannot be trusted with international moves. I am waiting for my household items to be delivered from US to Turkey. I was told that it will be 5-6 weeks when I hired them; now the delivery time is extended to almost 5 months with no date commitment. I have filed two complaints to Unigroup so far with no resolution. I have paid a significant amount for this move. My shipment is waiting at a port in Panama since early Feb and I am being told that it will not ship until mid March. If anyone at Unigroup reading these comments, please do what is necessary and get my items delivered to its final destination. It is not fair to charge your customers a large amount and promise a quality move and not deliver to that promise.
They Always Decorate Nice For The Holidays On Their Campus In Fenton, Missouri
WARNING!!! Do not trust Mayflower/United Van Lines (the same) with your move! But, if you consider them, ask the right questions and get it in writing! A United States Marine Corps disabled veterans move experience from California to Missouri. Nothing but heartache and pain.
I wish I could get them to deliver the furniture they’ve had for over two weeks. The lower level employees I speak with are all very nice, but clearly have no authority to fix a problem. I’ve spent money on hotels and flights based on their guaranteed delivery date and am sitting in an empty apartment with no word. 😡

1yI have been waiting 11 months to have my claim handled. I never, in my wildest, imagination, would think I'd have to take out 100% coverage. This was my 5th move, 2 to Mexico and my 5% keepsakes acquired from around the world (95% of my household goods were donated)were ruined due to complete negligence, breach of contract, forging my signature on documents, overcharging for services, altering documents and gross misrepresentation. I would even go as far as claiming extortion. I wrote the President of Unigroup, Jason Mills a letter on Linkedin and have not even received an acknowledgement. I think it's time to lawyer up and it's going to be ugly for Unigroup as I have every shred of documentation. All I get are excuses and ever changing stories, including off-loading the damages part to Chubb. Really? This transcends damages of one of a kind antiquities and custom furnishings. I'd appreciate a response immediately from Jason Mills.
