How often does the trainer seem like the smartest in the room? Does that make you trust them more or the training more valuable? You've probably invested in or had the wise sales veteran lead trainings where: 🗣️ They talk for 90% of the time 🗣️ There isn't in-depth activity that applies to your business 🗣️ Energy is low 🗣️ Use of tech is cumbersome 🗣️ They rely on leadership or babysitting to keep attention "what do you think (name)" "write this down" "let's get those cameras on" Not all of those trainings are bad - there's plenty of learning styles and those who have walked the walk for so long do spit some helpful facts ... if you can catch them in time and in context When I was in sales I attended some of these and was mesmerized by how much they knew to gain C-level access or about industry trends But how long did I retain the information? Did I sustainably change the behaviors that my leaders hoped? My belief is that trainers should be experts at one thing: getting others to share 👥 Their goals for the training and in life 👥 The gory and glory stories from the field 👥 Questions they use in discovery through practice 👥 What's working and not working with buyers 👥 Where their internal processes need work "This was different than any training I've done before" This, too, takes experience and wisdom I learned a ton in my sales career to make me dangerous enough In fact, time spent in the selling seat through boring trainings is what drives me to make them so interactive and relevant today Whoever is running a meeting or training needs to follow the 90/10 rule as much as the people they are training (I used to say 80/20 but Marcus A. Chan made me up it) The leaders at Stratasys understand this difference and had an electric day together recently They respected each other and were guided to share, maximizing their learning and takeaway How do you make sure learners are engaged? More than a conveyor manufacturer. As a member of the 'front row union', I enjoyed my Saturdays playing low level rugby with a team of people who loved the game of rugby, played because we wanted to, and shared a beer (or two) with our opponents after the match. Saturdays made up for the time spent alone during the working week. In sales you can become insular, focussed exclusively on delivering the results needed by your employer, even when these are unrealistic. Robson Handling Technology Ltd are different. Four months into my new career, there is a greater sense of 'team' than I have experienced for some time. A collective recognition that we work together to produce the results and cannot succeed if we don't work together. A family owned business that works. #ukmanufacturing #sales #bulkmaterialhandling

Himmerlandskøds hakkede oksekød fremstilles og pakkes på vores opskærings- og forædlingsfabrik i Farsø med hjælp fra vores dygtige medarbejdere og de nyeste produktionslinjer. Både hakket oksekød, burgerbøffer og hakkebøffer er lavet af dansk oksekød leveret direkte fra vores slagteri i Aalestrup, hvilket sikrer, at det er så friskt som muligt. Alle hakkekødsprodukter forlader fabrikken inden for 24 timer efter hakning.
