🌟 It was a Wonderful and energizing experience for our team who attended the American Marketing Association SERVSIG 2024 Conference hosted by KEDGE Business School in Bordeaux 🌟 ▪️🎉Best Paper Award 🎉 : We are overjoyed to announce that we won the Best Paper Award for the entire conference! This honor goes to Floriane Goosse’s project, in collaboration and under the co-supervision of Prof. Wafa Hammedi and Dominik Mahr from Maastricht University. Floriane presented at her very first academic conference, making this recognition even more remarkable!🤩 ▪️Research Presentations well received : ▫️Our doctoral students, Florence Nizette with her project , and Sara Belghiti with her project delivered fantastic presentations to fully packed rooms and received excellent feedback. Their hard work and dedication truly shone through.✨ ▫️A research paper co-authored by Wafa Hammedi, Thomas Leclercq and Doaa Talaat Mohamed (PhD student from Cairo University in Egypt and visting doctoral student in our research center) which received excellent feedback. ▪️ 🥂 Emerging Scholar Award 🎊 : We are thrilled to congratulate our international affiliate scholar, Prof. Linda Alkire (née Nasr) for winning the prestigious Emerging Scholar Award. It was an emotional moment for the entire team, and we felt triple proud! ▪️ServCollab Workshop and Gathering: A highlight of the conference was the incredible invitation-only ServCollab - Serving Humanity Through Collaboration gathering, organized by Prof. Ray Fisk ! Prof. Wafa Hammedi contributed to the ServCollab workshop with her paper on SDGs, co-authored with Lia Patrício and Joy Parkinson. ▪️ Inspiring Talks: We were captivated by the outstanding and thought- provoking keynote on open science by Prof. Yves Van Vaerenbergh . Prof. Ray Fisk delivered a compelling talk on serving humanity and the social impact, and we were also privileged to hear from iminent scholars such as Prof. Christian Grönroos . Their insights were truly enlightening and inspiring. ▪️Networking : The most important aspect of the conference was being with the fantastic and growing Belgian community, connecting along with friends and colleagues from all over the world. NADI Cercle extends heartfelt thanks to Prof. Jonas Holmqvist and the entire team for hosting such an exceptional conference. It was an experience we will cherish as a team for many reasons.
