Week after week, we hear stories of despicable antisemitism around the world. So we’ll continue to share stories of Jewish resilience and chutzpah — as Holocaust survivor Arnold Newfield recently did with our community. #MissionMonday #AmYisraelChai.

This Ad will play during the #Superbowl tomorrow. In the aftermath of the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust on October 7th, Jewish people around the world have experienced the largest spike in antisemitism since the Holocaust. The message is simple and powerful. Hate only wins if You Let It. Thank you Robert Kraft and Dr Clarence Jones for sharing this powerful and important message with billions around the world. https://lnkd.in/gzdAqb2M https://lnkd.in/gKKatbPM #endhate #stopantisemitism PS. The original post of this message was curiously deleted when I deleted a hateful comment on this post. Apologies to those who reposted. Please feel free to repost.

Here’s some questions for you all: do you deny that the Holocaust happened? Do you believe all people should have the right to safety and autonomy, free from fear of murder and terror? Do you deny that the October 7th massacre occurred? Do you understand their sole intent was the extermination and terrorizing of Jews? Do you accept they would have killed all Jews in the world if they could? If you answered “no” to any of these questions, then you should block me.

They can deny it all they want, but some things can never be erased... From the horrors of the Holocaust to the October 7th massacre, denying atrocities committed against Jews is antisemitism. NEVER AGAIN IS NOW! #holocaust #october7massacre #antisemitism #standwithus

I'm grateful to work for a company that takes the time to honor the memory of those who were systematically and intentionally slaughtered just for being themselves. Today, on this Yom HaShoah / Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the 6M Jews and the millions of others who were murdered in the holocaust, including gypsies/Roma, people with disabilities, people of Slavik or African descent and homosexuals. At Material, we are proud to offer an employee resource group that is focused on supporting the needs of many different communities, including the Jewish community and their friends and allies. One of our most popular events is our annual Holocaust Survivor Speaker Series. I'd like to share a little bit about it... Last week, we invited a holocaust survivor to share their story with our employees. Ms. Eva Perlman (a 92-year-old survivor) gave us sage advice about perseverance, courage, tolerance, gratitude and the importance of noticing the everyday miracles around us- even in times of great peril. Eva also cautioned us about the parallels between the brazen antisemitic bigotry we see today and that of the 1930s and 40s- which led to the Holocaust. For example, she drew parallels between how the Nazis prevented her father and mother from attending their university and today's Jewish college students who are being harassed, assaulted and physically blocked from attending their classes, libraries, and in some cases, even setting foot on campus. Sadly, this is happening even at my alma mater, #UCLA. There is no justification for antisemitism. And it is neither political nor controversial to draw parallels between the past and today. In fact, it's necessary that we learn from the past, so we don't repeat it. If you are Jewish and feel isolated; if you are an ally and don't know how to support your Jewish colleagues; if you are not sure what to make of our current divisive environment- I invite you to DM me. Through open and honest dialogue, we can support and better understand one another. #neverforget #neveragainisnow #stopantisemtism
On Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) each year, we mourn the loss of six million Jews and millions of others murdered in the Holocaust, and we honor the survivors. Last week, we at Material were privileged to hear from Eva Perlman, a Holocaust survivor who shared her story, wisdom and perspectives on finding gratitude in difficult times. Today is a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to stand up to hate and injustice everywhere. #HolocaustRemembranceDay #YomHaShoah

scape∙goat (noun): a – one that bears the blame for others b – one that is the object of irrational hostility scape∙goat (verb): to make a scapegoat of As a Jewish child, I learned about the concept of scapegoating and how the scapegoating of Jewish people fed into the Holocaust. As a human being, I'm horrified to see the scapegoating of Jewish people in our world today, happening right now en masse. Day 215. Once again, I couldn’t have said it better than the one and only Ritchie Torres. We are witnessing a surge of not just denial of the October 7 atrocities, but also of the Holocaust. It’s a scary time to be Jewish today in the US. But it shouldn’t be. Stand up to Jewish hate. PS. Demand the release of the hostages. #releasethehostages #bringthemhome

For today’s solemn day I have no different words than so many of us saying it here already. My head is bursting with migraine however I am continuing to sift through my thoughts on the vicious tactics that losers employ when tables turn against them. Tables are turning. Tactics are being ramped up. Other countries will be pulled into the conflict by hook or by crook. Conflict will devastatingly expand. We will call it war on terror. And the cycle will continue. Turn back pages of history to as far as you want and we will find this pattern. We can expect the worse however if we citizens of the free world stick together then we can decisively push back on our governments onslaught on all things democratic including rule of law, human rights, and international law. We are in the most defining moment of our 21st century. We urgently need to seek truth and I am hoping those brave whistleblowers who pop up once in a while to show us the truth tell us all tangible things we ought to know to fight this democratically and peacefully. We must lift up our Jewish cousins who are speaking up for Palestinians. We must have their backs so they know We do mean never again for everyone. This year must see the end of Islamophobia. Everyone is created equal by the creator. Nobody is the “chosen one”. That idea is inherently racist and exactly similar to the idea by guy who made the Holocaust happen. We cannot afford any more wars so as responsible citizens we must stop our governments for engaging in wars or instigating them by all other means and then call it “unprovoked”. Laws of Nature and laws of Physics already prove to us that nothing can happen unprovoked. So the word “unprovoked” is an utter lie especially when history is decked against us. Never Again means Never Again for Everyone. 🛑🕊️ Respect and thank you to the Rabbis who are speaking up instead of just minding their own business and marking this day to honour their ancestors. Truly respect them.
