🔊 A promotion event of shifting #trucks to #trains 🚛 ➡ 🚆 took place at the Bettembourg Terminal of CFL - Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois with a strong participation of Combined Transport operators, customers, technology providers, terminals and rail traction subcontractors. 👉 UIRR Director General, Ralf-Charley Schultze, emphasised that "while the #CombinedTransport community suffered 18-months of recession, the development of capacities and capabilities did not stop. The competitiveness of the sector advanced as Combined Transport continues to offer an attractive solution for shippers and LSPs. Combined Transport is part of the Industrial Deal, its a mainstay of the European economy's resilience and competitiveness." Many thanks to organiser ERMEWA SA (Cyrille Guyon and Bernhard Hoffmann), host CFL multimodal (Imad J., Sven Löffler, Laurent Erhard and Paul Kronenberger), the demonstrator TX Logistik AG (Bernd Weisweiler and Christoph Dörre), customer TIP Group (Diedrick van Haselen), operators AMBROGIO INTERMODAL (Roberto Barraza) and Lahaye Global Logistics (Bastien Thirion), railway undertaking Hector Rail Germany (Marc Giesen) and Björn Tiemann from CTOS terminal.

Michail Stahlhut Thank you very much for sharing this positive news! It is very important to offer shippers (especially new ones) an "easy experience" when shifting the modes. And from our end, we continue shifting volumes from road, currently 56% of our Land TKMs in EU are intermodal 😉 Thanks you!

Dear Charley, thank you for your speech and the strong support of UIRR for the combined transport community. We from ERMEWA SA appreciate the work done by UIRR in the past and need you in the future!
