If I’m planning to apply for EB-2 NIW, should I work at a small company or a large company? A small company could potentially give you: - Access to a role with a lot of responsibility early on, which can definitely boost your EB-2 NIW profile. - Access to more senior leaders at your company who can recommend you. - Access to work that can make an impact on your company and even your field, especially if you’re engaged in research. But you might be able to get all of the above from a larger company as well (at some of the FAANGs, for example, you might very early on in your career get the chance to work on a product that will be widely used and have high impact). There’s no one-size-fits-all answer - your decision on where to work should be based not just on the size of the company but also other factors like what kind of work you’ll be doing there, who you’ll be working with, etc., and how they fit into your overall career trajectory and also how you want to present your EB-2 NIW case. - Interested in EB-1A, EB-2 NIW or O-1?
