A huge thank you to Petrina Baker for your service on the Two Good Foundation board. You have been an incredible part of our journey as an impact led organisation.
When we look back to when you joined (June of 2017) we realise how far we have come. We wouldn't be where we are today without your advice, guidance and encouragement.
On behalf of all of Two Good Co and all of the women we've had the honour to walk beside. Thank you!
And although our formal engagement has come to an end, you are always welcome at the Two Good table!

As part of my committment to help vets and veterinary nurses to experience career fulfilment with more ease, so that we can bring our best to our clients and their pets, I have completed the incredible leadership program with OneofMany, called Lead the Change. I am now training as a coach so that I can share these powerful tools that I have learned with the wider veterinary community, as part of this wider vision.
There are fellow vets and coaches (as well as women from many other industries) with me here today, who can see this co-creative potential of women. I believe that when we work together, collaboratively and openly, we can not only work with more joy and ease but synergistically to create powerful and exciting change.
However, I am curious to know what you think?

Helping vets to work with ease without burnout.
I am so proud to be part of the One of Many crew who are supporting courageous women at the One Woman Conference this weekend to become leaders and to bring their vision to the world. Some of the inspiring stories being shared from stage include bringing a safety framework for young black people and leading in big corporate in a collaborative and supportive way, celebrating everyone’s zone of genius. I hope that those of us who are training as One of Many coaches can bring these transformative tools to the veterinary community to support our colleagues to fulfil their potential in a sustainable and more easeful way. #onewomanconference#oneofmany#leadthechange
It's one thing to believe in your positions. It's another to advocate for them.
This week on #IWishTheyKnew: Heather Hansen shows us how to advocate to win -- the act of getting something positive because we've earned it.
In this episode, we discuss:
✓ Three things advocates do to get more wins
✓ How men and women approach advocacy differently
✓ Why feedback seekers make for strong advocates
✓ The surprising ways advocates get more of what they want
From learning how to set your non-negotiables to applying specific actions to build your credibility, you'll learn how to get others to believe in your positions as much as you do.

Can we talk about Jotaka Eaddy, Founder of #WinWithBlackWomen and the impact of starting your own business?
I am inspired by the momentum I have been witnessing since last night and the impact of 44,000 Black Women jumping on a Zoom and raising over 1.5 Million for Kamala Harris' campaign.
But I am most impressed by the impact of using your talents, skills, and natural GIFTS to impact the world. Go Jotaka!

*Sisterhood: Unleashing the Collective Power of Women*
Having been a part of women’s work since 2010 I am sad to say that world still often pits women against each other. At the same time, I am happy to say that the concept of sisterhood stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment. Sisterhood continues to grow, unleashing with it the power of the collective.
Sisterhood within Women For Afrika (WFA) clearly shows that women share a common experience and that by supporting one another, we can achieve
far more than we ever could alone. I feel, seen, heard, and understood in this
environment and am constantly reminded that when women come together, we create a powerful force for change.
Since beginning my involvement in the NPO’s Board and Leadership in 2014, I have seen how women lift each other up when we share our experiences, our
insights, and our strengths. Our collective action is where we continue to
break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and pave the way for a more
equitable future for our daughters and other young women.
When a new women steps into the WFA community we sometimes have to remind them that womanhood is not about competition or diminishing each other's accomplishments. It's about celebrating our differences, recognising our unique strengths, and amplifying each other's voices. It's about creating a sisterhood space where we feel safe, supported, and encouraged to pursue our dreams.
As women settle into their membership of the community I see the shift into remembering that sisterhood is not a luxury ~ it's a necessity. It's the foundation upon which we build our collective power and create a world where we can all thrive.
So, with 7 days left of the global 16 days of activism against GBV, let's embrace and encourage sisterhood. Let's uplift each other celebrate successes, offer support in times of need, and stand together in unity. Together, we can make a difference.
Together, we can create a world where women are seen, heard, and valued and the starting point is in building sisterhood.
