Twist Bioscience has been a proud Biodesigned sponsor for years, and this year we were thrilled to present the Outstanding Narrative Award to the Maryland Institute College of Art for ‘Symbiotic Stitches.’ The team worked with mycelium, slime mold, and lichen to create a living quilt with self regenerating properties; focusing on the concept of care as resiliency within their community.
