We're excited to be building new affordable housing on the Greater East Side of St. Paul, but we also recognize that we're building in an existing community. Once the land of the Dakota people, the Greater East Side was home to a Jewish golf club created after WWII, and now is home to many indigenous and immigrant families. We appreciate the diversity and inclusivity that strengthen this area, and we encourage you to also discover the cultural history of this vibrant neighborhood. https://hubs.ly/Q02FMkcw0

So honored to be asked to testify before the US Senate's Subcommittee on Housing about how Fading West is working to solve the nationwide housing crisis. It's clear that industry and governments must work together to tackle this issue. We believe that modular construction can play a key role in cutting costs and speeding up construction. Let's work together to make affordable housing a reality for all Americans. #UShousingcrisis #modularconstruction #FadingWest

At BlackNorth Initiative, we understand the significance of homeownership in fostering generational wealth for Black families. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity GTA empowered by Dream Legacy Foundation the Homeownership Bridge Program is more than an affordable housing strategy, it is an economic and racial inclusion strategy. The Homeownership Bridge Program is designed as both a symbolic and a practical approach of mobilizing all levels of society working together to address systemic racism. Homeownership is not just about having a place to call your own; it's a key to unlocking economic opportunities and securing a legacy for future generations. By providing accessible pathways to homeownership, we empower Black families to build equity, stability, and generational wealth. The BlackNorth Initiative's Homeownership Bridge Program addresses the unique challenges faced by our community in the Canadian housing market. We advocate for fairness, equity, and inclusion in housing, aiming to create a level playing field for Black families. Join us in spreading awareness about the importance of homeownership in building a brighter future for Black families in Canada. Together, we can bridge the gap and pave the way for generations to come. Our goal with the "Buy & Build Back Your Block" initiative is to raise the bar collectively and accelerate the pace of change within commercial real estate. Who's in?
Crains New York Business put out an article earlier this year on The Families Behind the Most Recognizable Buildings in New York. Highlights suggest New York is real estate, and the foundation of that real estate is in many cases families. Those cited with influence on the streetscape and how the city runs include the Dursts, Kushners, Silversteins and Goldman’s — but it got me thinking. Why Not Mine? Why Not Yours? Tasking our most influential BIPOC Professionals, Artists, Athletes & Entertainers to consider an investment alternative...buy back your old block! NYC and nationwide. Stay tuned for pending economic & community development initiatives by PRI-O-LEAU Development Group (PDG)

Ever notice how some neighborhoods just have that "magic" that makes them feel like home? 🏡✨ Calgary has that in spades, especially for young families looking to grow roots and spread their wings. Here's a personal insight. A few years back, a client was torn between the big city and suburban life, their biggest concern being the community feel for their kids. Fast forward to today, they're the biggest advocates for family-friendly neighborhoods in Calgary. How? The answer lay in the community events that brought families together, creating bonds stronger than the Alberta winters! From summer BBQs in the park to winter festivals of lights, every event in Calgary seems designed to build connections and joy. 🎈 This isn’t just about fun and games. These community events are the threads that weave strong neighborhood fabrics. By helping families find their perfect spot in Calgary, we've observed: 1. Children’s development is enriched with community activities. 2. Parents find a support network. 3. The value of properties often increase as neighborhoods build a reputation for being "the place to live" for families. To my clients looking for a space to grow bigger or those wanting to downsize without losing community ties, remember, it's not just square footage that makes a home—it's the laughter, support, and shared experiences in your locality. Calgary isn't just where you buy a house; it's where you find a home and a community that embraces you. To those who wonder if community spirit still exists, I say come to Calgary's family-friendly neighborhoods - it's alive and thriving here! 🌈 Calling all Calgarians — what’s your favorite local event that brings our communities closer together? Share your stories! #CalgaryLiving #FamilyFriendly #CommunityBuilding #RealEstate #GrowWithCalgary
