Emerging Fundamentals of a New Economy 🎉 It is my honor to announce the launch of the Circular Venture Building Report of 2024. It was created in collaboration with Invest-NL NL and Het Groene Brein, and ten experts from various fields - ranging from innovation strategy to macroeconomics and from psychology to financial structures . Together, we analyzed and debated the emerging fundamentals of what it would take for a new economy - one that is circular, sustainable, regenerative - to truly work. We asked what needs to be dismantled, and what is missing for circular entrepreneurship to succeed. 🎶 We soon realized that there is no savior - no single hero company, visionary, or product which will materialise the transition. Innovations require a specific situational context and co-innovators to thrive. The development of circular value chains will require #ecosystem #orchestration an #ecosystem #innovation. For circular ventures, this is an even greater uphill climb, as they must work beyond the logics and limiting beliefs of the current 'normal' society. Together with the experts we looked for frameworks and strategies to navigate this unfolding new economy. 📣 We want to share our learnings with everyone, which is why we will post the full report on own website to download for free. 🌟 Celebrating my Anniversary as an Entrepreneur 🚀 💼 One year ago, I made the leap from corporate innovation to the exhilarating world of entrepreneurship. What started as an idea nurtured on a university bench at Politecnico di Milano has grown into my full-time passion, transforming sustainable actions into tangible benefits for people through HexErgy. 🌐 Reflecting on this journey, I recently had the incredible opportunity to present HexErgy’s impact at the #MSMEDay during the Geneva & Fribourg Entrepreneurship Forum with the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) at the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). It's humbling to see how our initiative aimed at promoting renewable energy communities in Italy, Netherlands, and Latin America has evolved into a comprehensive solution, fostering their adoption. It's even more remarkable to have a platform to share our experience, motivations, and challenges on the same stage that defined the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which inspired me to designed the HexErgy’s logo. 🤝This journey has taught me invaluable lessons in resilience, creativity, and the transformative power of innovation. I am very grateful with my former innovation colleagues Michele Rossi and Giulia Minghetti, and now with my partners in crime Luca Di Narzo, Fleur Engelberts, Kauan Von Novack and Rik Bhattacharya, MBA with whom I celebrate all these achievements. Danish startups helped Harvard think greener! 🌱 Thanks to the collaboration between Innovation Center Denmark and the Clean, several innovative Danish startups have been given a unique opportunity to contribute to Harvard Office for Sustainability's sustainability efforts. These Danish companies are conducting pilot projects to enhance waste organization, sorting, and recycling at one of the world's most prestigious educational institutions. David Havelick, the associate director of Harvard's Office of Sustainability, shared, "We know the information we've collected doesn't stop there." This initiative not only marks a significant step towards greener practices in higher education but also underscores the global power of international partnerships in driving positive change.
