Our client is a manufacturer of lighting fixtures and is seeking a dynamic outside salesperson to lead sales development within their commercial, residential & industrial business in Texas and the greater Southern territories. This role will primarily cover Texas, with the potential to cover other Southern markets, encompassing New Mexico over to the Southeast. The most critical areas include TX and FL. Channel partners encompass manufacturing representatives, electrical distributors, lighting showrooms and more. Success in this role will require fostering relationships with our manufacturer representatives, commercial & residential influencers, including design and construction teams comprised of architects, lighting designers, electrical engineers, commercial & residential contractors, developers, and builders. The primary focus is to build relationships with key decision makers, including developers, builders, showrooms and design building contractors. Long term potential to manage a network of manufacturers’ representative agents and oversee direct channel partner and influencer accounts essential for success. Location: Ideal location for RSM is in a major TX market. Consideration will be given to a major Florida market as well as other Southern markets, including Nashville, TN; Charlotte & Raleigh/Durham, NC & Atlanta, GA.
