Seems to be good news, but light on technical details. This could be great for better chips, if they don't produce a heat generation or dissipation problem. The shorter the "wires" inside a chip, the higher the frequencies allowed to be used. By moving this inboard right onto the chip, there can be no shorter connections. https://lnkd.in/gZMpKKzC

https://lnkd.in/gmsBCcFz Soo.. 2000CFM per rack was about 30kW per rack at a 47F dT rise (ya its hot and usually a challenge for PDU's and equipment in hot aisle for air cooling..).. Beyond really does make sense for liquid cooling and in particular liquid cooling without the thermal resistance breaks (think multiple exchanges from fluid over the chip to the water going to dry stack cooler or external cooling to ambient). From a technology perspective the liquid cooler than can minimize heat exchanges will win as every exchange is an efficiency loss. Be on the lookout for those technologies that can use liquid in the most effective way that is the technology that is going to "win"...

Then, see our recent publication in IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification "Optimal V2G Scheduling of an EV with Calendar and Cycle Aging of Battery: An MILP Approach". The study develops a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model to optimize the V2G scheduling of an EV, considering calendar aging and cycle aging.
