Tomorrow marks a monumental milestone in my career – 25 incredible years as part of the Baker Tilly Search & Staffing/Truity Partners family. If I've learned a few things over these years, it's that you never know what life will bring, you sometimes have to take a leap of faith and to make sure you have a good support structure both personally and professionally. This mindset has played a crucial role throughout my career, especially when I made the career transition from accounting to recruiting and when I helped open our Chicago office. When I switched to recruiting, I told myself “If I don't like it, I can always go back to accounting" but I have never looked back. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with extraordinary team members, candidates and clients. It’s so gratifying to have clients who, even after changing jobs and companies, continue to reach out to me for their hiring needs. It’s also rewarding to receive calls from candidates I've placed, now in leadership roles, seeking assistance to build their own teams. Witnessing the career growth of those I’ve placed and mentored internally has been immensely fulfilling. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this amazing journey.
