On this President's Day, let's take a moment to reflect on the legacies of our past leaders. According to a recent survey by C-Span, former President Obama has been ranked as the 12th best president in US history. The ranking was based on factors such as public persuasion, moral authority, equal justice for all, relationship with Congress, international relations, and more. The top 5 presidents were Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Theodore Roosevelt, and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Interestingly, John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan were also part of the top 10. It's worth noting that the legacy of presidents is best measured by the lens of history, the passage of time, and reflection upon the times in which they governed. The top 5 governed during periods of war or crisis, while those who governed during stability and peace did not rank as high. Who are your top 5 presidents? What characteristics do you think make for a great presidential legacy? Let's honor this day by reflecting on the past and thinking about what we can learn from our country's leaders. #family #familylegacy #generosity #presidentsday
