We’ve all told ourselves ‘when I’ve done this, things will be much easier’. However, so often the answer or result is not the outcome, the outcome is only the product of the process we follow. How often on reaching that outcome have we simply felt only relief at the completion of a big event or reaching a personal milestone even when it was something we wanted, something we’d initially embarked on with excitement? Maybe we’ve even felt disappointment. ‘This isn’t what I expected it to feel like.’ Or worse still… ‘This achievement changes nothing.’ It is easy to get caught up in achieving an outcome at all costs, to be caught up in the belief that this outcome or achievement will be the thing that will make the difference in our days and lives and to forget that how we get there is just as important. This blog asks what are the qualities we want to experience in achieving our aspirations? And knowing these qualities, how can I bring them into how I work towards what I want? Then, regardless of the outcome, we will always have the experience of the journey, which so often is the only real outcome. https://lnkd.in/gWKSAEeU

I don't do New Year’s resolutions. Instead, I focus on the power of intentions. In 2023, my intention was to discover. To explore new aspects of myself, my passions, strengths, and even weaknesses. To discover a world outside myself through travel and learning. Through all this, I gained a deeper understanding of different cultures and people, as well as my own thoughts and triggers. These discoveries and rediscoveries have led me to my intention for the new year. My intention word for 2024 is "breakthrough." I plan to build upon my lessons from the previous year and share them with others. Looking forward to what's to come. ✌️🏾 CTA: What intention are you bringing into the New Year?

What most people don’t realise is that the achievement of one goal is just the beginning of the next level. I believe that in equal proportions that you don’t ever “arrive” and you have already “arrived.” There is only now. You are here right now and when you get that goal or achieve that thing, you’ll just be here and now once more. You don’t get to tomorrow, yet your life moves through the passage of time and memories are formed along the journey. Each time you complete a quest in life is simply the beginning of the next one. There is no completing all the quests where there is nothing left to learn, there are always new depths to reach and more lessons to learn, this is the joy of life. And yet here you are with many quests already behind you. Both arrived and never really arriving. You are here now because this is where your path has led you and it’s enough. Don’t confuse the path for the destination.
