FACILITIES MANAGEMT EMPHASIS INDOOR AIR QUALITY, ENERGY REDUCTION SERVICES. SPECIALIZED AIR-CONDITIONING, ELECTROMECHANICAL AND SOLAR SYSTEMS.
Terms like 4 cylinders, horse power, twin cam, turbo charged, overhead head cam are terms we associate with automobiles. Some of terms are new while others have always been associated with vehicle engines. I attended Clifton Dupigny Technical College Dominica West Indies, where I completed a course in Auto Mechanics. During my mechanic days, all vehicles including cars were rear wheel drive, connected via a drive shaft and universal joint to the transmission. Front wheel drive and overhead cam is the norm for modern cars. Vehicles have not changed much, pistons, crankshaft, piston ring, connecting rod, camshaft, valves, spark plugs, and springs are still used in many modern vehicles. Notably missing is the push rod, distributor, conventional coil. Off course this is a 4 cycle,( Intake, compression, power and exhaust), overhead cam internal combustion engine. ✨ Wednesday Wisdom ✨ Brake systems are the unsung heroes of road safety, composed of intricate components working harmoniously to ensure your vehicle's secure stops. Let's delve into the mechanics behind this crucial system, demystifying the complexities for a comprehensive understanding. At the core of every brake system are rotors, brake pads, and callipers. Rotors, attached to the wheels, endure the brunt of the friction generated during braking. Brake pads grip the rotors, creating necessary friction, while callipers serve as clamp-like devices exerting pressure on the pads. Brake fluid, often overlooked, plays a critical role in transmitting force from your foot to the brakes. Maintaining the proper fluid level is paramount for peak braking performance. Callipers, the unsung maestros, exert pressure on brake pads, engaging with rotors to create necessary friction for controlled deceleration. Disc and drum brakes, each with distinct strengths and applications, are integral components. 🧠 Informed decisions are empowered decisions. At Preferred Auto & Fleet Service, we transcend the role of mere technicians. We are passionate educators dedicated to your safety. Maintaining your brakes isn't just a matter of convenience; it's a commitment to your safety. 👉 https://preferredauto.ca Drive intelligently, drive securely! #PreferredAuto #ThunderBay #PreferredAutoAndFleetServices #Mechanics #FamilyOwned #Automotive #FleetManagement #WednesdayWisdom

The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test (CVRT) is a roadworthiness test required for Trucks and Trailers. Truck & Trailer CVRT Category Requirements The following types of Trucks & Trailers need a CVRT and belong under the category of HCV - Heavy Commerical Vehicle Testing i.e goods vehicles over 3,500 kg GVW/goods trailers over 3,500 kg GVW What does the CVRT Test Examine? The CVRT confirms that a vehicle satisfies basic safety standards on the day the test is carried out. It tests what is accessible and visible. It does not confer a warranty as regards the condition of the vehicle. Only components that are visible and accessible can be assessed at the CVRT. These include: Brakes/Lights and markings/Wheels and tyres / Steering and suspension / Chassis and underbody / Tachograph / Speed limiter / Exhaust emissions / Electrical systems /Glass and mirrors The Truck & Trailer CVRT Test Results When your vehicle has completed its CVR test, we will give you a report outlining the results of the test. You will receive one of the following: A pass statement, meaning that your vehicle has passed the CVR test. We will automatically send the CRW to the registered owner of the vehicle. A test report advising you that your vehicle has failed the CVR test. The vehicle owner must get the vehicle repaired and re-present it for a CVR retest at the same testing centre within 21 days or it has travelled less than 4,000 km. When your vehicle completes and passes the retest, we will automatically issue a CRW to the registered owner of the vehicle. Contact us: https://lnkd.in/gdr7Se_9

Air suspensions allow regulation of the ride height and give more comfort during the ride of the trailer. The levelling function keeps the height of the vehicle constant independently of the load conditions and can automatically compensate the braking dynamics, always ensuring proper adherence. Models cover capacities from 11 tonnes to 13 tonnes. Compared to traditional mechanical suspensions, pneumatics offers many advantages: ▶ The vehicle attitude can be adapted to the loads and routes. ▶ Its levelling feature keeps the vehicle height constant regardless of load conditions. ▶ It can automatically compensate for braking dynamics, always guaranteeing adequate grip. ▶ It can stabilize the vehicle during cornering and integrate ABS and ESP devices to optimize vehicle behaviour. ▶ The modularity of this type of suspension makes it possible to create assemblies with an unlimited number of axes. 🌐 www.adraxles.com 📧 [email protected] #adrgroup #axle #suspension #agriculturalmachinery
