Some more information on the Internal Revenue Service's initial audit of the community benefit activities of 30 tax-exempt hospitals, but really a lot more guessing. What we do know is the questions being asked by the IRS have been extremely detailed, and that now is the time to review your community benefit activities, ensure they are all being captured on your Form 990, Schedule H, and look to document support in case your hospital's number gets called.

October is Free Wills Month. If you've not yet written your will, or you're thinking of updating your current one, there are a couple of different types of will and gift you might consider. • Simple Will - A standard will, without more complex aspects like overseas accounts or property. A simple will meets the needs of most people. • Mirror Will - Some couples choose to write identical wills, where one will is the 'mirror' of the other and the wishes expressed in both wills are the same. • Pecuniary Gift - A gift of a fixed sum of money e.g. £1,000. • Residuary Gift - A gift that's a percentage of whatever's left in your estate once your loved ones have been provided for. A gift in your will would enable us to keep delivering lifesaving awareness. Your gift will also help ensure we reach healthcare professionals with our clinical tools and first-class education materials. If you're thinking of leaving us a gift in your will, you can read our FAQs via our website. To create your legacy now & start your FREE WILL please use this link: https://lnkd.in/eeaWBQuh THANK YOU – your legacy will make a lasting impact 🧡

Discovering assistance, whether it's for food, employment training, resume building, or job development, is a straightforward process: Government Support: Federal, state, and local governments allocate funds to local and regional non-profit organizations. These organizations offer these services free of charge. FindHelp.org: You can access these resources at FindHelp.org. It's a simple process; just enter your zip code. Contacting Resources: Once you've found potential resources, get in touch with them. This can be through a phone call or an email. Ask them about the specific assistance you require. Explore Alternatives: If the resource you contact doesn't have what you need, don't hesitate to inquire if they are aware of any other organizations or services that might be able to assist you. Remember the adage, "By asking, you can find the road to Rome." It underscores the importance of seeking information and assistance to achieve your goals.
