The collective knowledge and skills of the team contribute to effective decision making, risk management and contract management from ordering to complete execution of the package. The team follows a rigorous approach during ordering stage which entails due diligence of the Suppliers including their financial health check, market data analysis, calculation of should-be-cost and cost optimization through effective negotiation while managing the commercial risks. "I'd like to share my extensive experience after serving several years in the role of a Procurement/ Supply Chain Manager at a company with over 1500 employees, handling various EPC projects. Over the years, I've been responsible for supplying equipment for more than 5 DRI projects, 2 steelmaking projects, one desalting project, one ferroalloy project, one refractory project, one copper project, and more (finished and ongoing). These projects have collectively involved a procurement budget nearing 1000 million euros over the span of a decade. Throughout this journey, I want to underscore the pivotal role of a project manager. In the world of procurement, I've encountered situations where working with a less experienced project manager on a smaller project can demand far more energy from you and your team than managing a mega project with an expert project manager.
