Analysis of operational reliability of automatic regulation systems of steam turbines of T-250-240 type made on the basis of CCC controllers and methods of increasing their reliability. 2.2.3 Large pressure difference above and below the spool valve. 2.2.3.1 Failure manifestation and causes. This failure is manifested by an increase in the actuator control current up to the current limit set point and can lead to unsatisfactory positioning of the servomotor stem. However, the positioning capability of the servomotor is generally maintained. Prolonged operation in the presence of high pressure differences reduces the service life of the actuators and can cause them to fail. 2.2.3.2 Fault localization. To determine this failure it is necessary to analyze the graphs of currents of the actuator, the displacement of the graph relative to the zero line indicates the impact on the rod of the actuator familiar-constant force, which arises due to the presence of a pressure difference under and above the spool. 2.3 Failures of actuators and their control circuits. Failures of the spool drive actuators and their control circuits, as a rule, lead to limitation of the generated power and deterioration of the turbine unit operation modes. Failures of actuators of the defense cocking prevent the turbine from starting, but do not affect its normal operation. Further we will consider the following types of failures: 1. Failures of actuators of cut-off spools and their control circuits; 2. Failures of protection actuators and their control circuits. #controlsystems #turbines #powergeneration #reliability
