TriPlast, Austria’s most advanced plastics recycling plant, is now open and equipped with TOMRA’s signature orange machines. ♻️ With a sorting capacity of 100 000 tons per year, #TriPlast handles 50% of Austria's lightweight packaging sorting. This feat is achieved using cutting-edge sensor-based sorting technology, featuring 38 of our state-of-the-art AUTOSORT™ units. We're thrilled to be the chosen provider for this incredible project, significantly advancing plastic and metal recycling. TOMRA’s CEO, Tove Andersen, and Head of TOMRA Recycling, Dr. Volker Rehrmann, attended the opening ceremony, celebrating this major milestone for Austria’s recycling industry.
