We invite you to take part in the event «Education and business in the energy sector: points of interaction for solving staffing problems».
📆 The event will take place on 20 June in Kyiv, organized by the UN Global Compact Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian Energy Initiative and supported by DTEK.
Staff shortage in the energy sector is an acute problem that threatens the sustainable development of the industry. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss this problem from different perspectives and develop ways to solve it.
This is a unique opportunity for representatives of government, business, and education to join forces to address one of the most pressing issues in the Ukrainian energy sector - the shortage of qualified personnel 👥
The event will bring together key stakeholders in the energy sector - representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, leading energy companies, and educational institutions.
Together:
🔹 We will present and discuss the results of a large-scale study of the human resources needs of Ukrainian energy companies, which the UNGC conducted in May this year.
🔹 We will hold a roundtable discussion with key stakeholders on the Challenges of Staffing the Energy Sector.
🔹We will hear about the experience of representatives of leading energy companies in cooperation with educational institutions, difficulties in recruiting staff, and competence requirements.
🔹We will learn about dual education, internships, and other programs from representatives of higher and vocational education institutions.
🔹 We will develop a Roadmap for the development of human resources in the energy sector.
📲 Participation is free, but pre-registration is required: https://lnkd.in/grgKeDUf
