I’m somewhere between angry, shocked, and desperate when it comes to the state of women’s health. That’s obviously not helpful. But research and awareness are. In the last year, I did several interviews for Faces Of Digital Health Podcast about women’s health and investments in healthcare with Shamala Hinrichsen, Mariatheresa Samson Kadushi, Leslie Schrock, Marija Butkovic, Anna Dé, Antonella Santuccione Chadha, Women's Brain Project. Find the condensed findings in the latest newsletter, that touches upon: 🚺 gender-related health stats, 🤰 fertility, 👉 menopause, 💰 investment, 😩 challenges of female founders, 💡 💡 💡 what you can do today to change the state of women's health. Migraines are three to four times more common in women than in men. Women have historically been diagnosed with depression twice as much as men, and have a higher risk of dementia. Approximately 80% of all patients diagnosed with autoimmune diseases are women. If you think you have an idea about the impact of gender differences on health, think again. ⬇ ⬇ ⬇ #women #femtech #womenshealth #digitalhealth Health Podcast Network HIT Like a Girl Pod Grace Vinton Joy Rios European Women in VC Women In Technology (WIT) HBA Women in Science Tinkara Pavlovcic Kapitanovic Sanja Sekač Djordjević Jhonatan Bringas Dimitriades, MD
There needs to be more allyship in this space too, I think Tjasa. Leaders like Hassan Chaudhury are doing the right thing but there aren’t enough high profile male leaders who are supporting a greater focus and concentration of resources on women’s health, IMHO.

Develop #AI without #bias that adheres to #ethics #privacy #datasovereignty is crucial for digital health. A conversation on digital health has to include the female powerhouses of technology.
Great article, thanks for sharing this. It's so important to share the progress we've made, yet acknowledge that there is much more that needs to be done! I love to see how many more female founders are stepping up to resolve the gender gap in healthcare. However, what worries me the most is how we're powering new technology (especially AI) with data that is mostly based on the white male population. I think we should look at what we're 'training' new technology with in the first place.

It's alarming to see the disparities in women's health, but your efforts to raise awareness and conduct research are commendable. Your podcast interviews shed light on crucial issues and inspire action. Keep up the impactful work!
"Changing the narrative and the consequences of women’s health is far from easy"- true, but working together we can make a difference.
Tjasa Zajc , insightful and also absolutely frustrating that these stars continue. Women's health continues to be ignored because we're often not even in the room when decisions are being made, and those making decisions for us, are not us...

7moInformation packed with valuable insights from you. There is so much to be done through advocacy and action. Well done Tjasa 👏🏼thank you for this great NL. It’s telling that menopause was and is still considered to be an illness. What a myth worth busting! Personally, menopause has been an unexpected revelation. I feel more centered and powerful (physically, mentally, etc) than ever before. Such a wonderful season of life! There is a reason why most female excutuivaes and top leaders in their fields say they found their true voice after the age of 45.
