Design Guidelines are a very important factor in developing apps for specific devices whether mobile, computer or tablet. Popular OS used in these devices use their own design systems which have certain standard design guidelines. 🤔 Do you think the Apple tap-back emojis should be redesigned? 🎨 As a regular WhatsApp user, where more options are available, I must admit that, on occasion, I do miss having more options when iMessgaging. 📱 #userexperience #userexperiencedesign #usability #usercentereddesign #userinterfacedesign #emoji #emojis #messaging #redesign #innovation https://lnkd.in/gaW5bBHR
Why are these quirky Apple ’emojis’ so curiously off-brand?

Ever wondered about the right lens for your laser application? 🤔 In a recent LFW paper (https://lnkd.in/eWF_SdjC), my colleagues and I delved into this issue. For non-lens designers, picking the right lens shape can be the most difficult part of the lens selection process. Navigating through laser optics options at optics suppliers reveals numerous choices. While lens material and diameter selection are straightforward, picking the right lens shape can be challenging. To simplify this process, we've developed a web app. Visit www.lenskit.app for a tool that, based on a few basic user inputs, demonstrates how plano-convex, best form, and aspheric lens shapes focus a laser beam. Check out the video below for a quick overview. Please give us your feedback on this app or suggestions for others to help make your job easier. #LensDesign #WebApps #Optics #Lasers

Hi LinkedIn family, Happy new year.🎊🎊😍🥂🎆🎈 I pray this new year brings ease and plenty opportunities.🙏🙏🙏 I started my design for 2024 with iPhone wallpaper slider interaction. And to be honest I aced the interaction. One thing I learnt while creating this interaction is that there is no shortest path to creating it.I wanted the easiest possible means to create the interaction, but it didn’t work out. So I had to carefully design each steps and iterations. Side note this is my first time recording my designs and also edited them to post. I think I’ll do this more often . Enjoy. #uxdesign #uiuxdesigner

Redefining Boundaries: A Glimpse into Apple's Future 🚀 Diving into the world of design has always been a passion of mine, fueled by the boundless creativity and innovation of companies like Apple. Their ability to redefine what's possible never fails to inspire. Recently, I came across a thought-provoking article that delves into the future of Apple's design language. It's no secret that Apple has been at the forefront of UI evolution, from the groundbreaking iOS 7 to the latest frontier, Vision Pro. What caught my attention were the insights shared regarding the emerging principles that could shape the next era of design across iOS 18, Mac OS, and beyond: immersion, physicality, and dynamic motion. Imagine a weather app where you're not just looking at a screen but immersed in a virtual snowfall, feeling the flakes dance around you. It's not just about functionality anymore; it's about creating experiences that transport you. Moreover, the resurgence of skeuomorphism is intriguing. By infusing digital interfaces with elements of the physical world, Apple is breathing new life into UI design across its ecosystem, adding depth and realism in ways we haven't seen before. And let's talk about motion. The fluid animations and dynamic interactions found in iOS 17 are nothing short of mesmerizing. It's like watching technology come to life before your eyes. As we stand on the cusp of a new design era, it's clear that thinking outside the box is no longer a suggestion but a necessity. Embracing 3D graphics, pushing the boundaries of traditional UI, and prioritizing user experience are the keys to unlocking this brave new world. I'm excited to see where this journey takes us and eager to be a part of shaping the future of design within the Apple ecosystem. #DesignInnovation #FutureOfDesign #AppleDesign #iOS18 #MacOS #UXUI #VisionPro #UserExperience #CreativeThinking #ImmersiveDesign #Skeuomorphism #DynamicMotion #3DGraphics #DigitalInterfaces #DesignEvolution #TechInnovation #DesignTrends

The term "responsiveness" describes a system's capacity to adjust and offer a smooth user experience on a range of screens and devices. It entails creating websites or applications with content and layout that automatically adjusts to provide the best possible user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. This flexibility improves usability and accessibility. The design and layout changes done to make sure a web page looks and works well across a range of devices and screen sizes are referred to as responsiveness in HTML. This is accomplished by employing media queries and flexible grids, two responsive web design strategies. Flexible grids allow a page to change its layout according to the width of the screen. They are usually implemented using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap. With media queries, you may apply distinct styles or rules according to particular variables, such as device features or screen size, which improves the entire user experience on desktops and smartphones alike. #Day8challenge #SAIL30DaysChallenge
