A well-designed space can help promote positive emotions, and create a sense of well-being, relaxation and comfort. You can only achieve this through well-designed spaces with a knowledgeable Designer. So choose your Designer well, and beware of what I like to call the “rent-a-decorator”. They will gladly fill your home with a corporate based cookie cutter floor plan filled with their corporate furniture packages at a 10,000 percent mark-up — and they could potentially be selling you junk that could negatively effect your home and your health. As architects and interior designers, you play a crucial role in shaping the spaces where people live, work, and play. What is Wellness Design? It encompasses a holistic understanding of how our physical surroundings can impact our physical, mental, and emotional states.
