Not all ETFs are cut from the same cloth. Be sure to understand the underlying holdings of any mutual funds and ETFs that are in your portfolio. And it goes without saying....know the fees which the funds are charging. Investor's Business Daily article on Morningstar report that the ARK family fund has destroyed $14.3B of wealth in the past 10 years, "And get this. Investors paid a 0.75% annual fee for the privilege.". #etfs #mutualfunds #fees #FeeAwareness https://loom.ly/Nk4thHU

At the end of 2026, annual investment statements will feature all fees paid including the embedded cost of owning a mutual fund or ETF. "In some ways, you can view this as an opportunity to establish a refreshed tone with your clients — to reassure them of the value of the relationship and commitment you have with them to safely steward their savings and achieve the results they need for a secure future. After all, part of what clients truly value in the relationship is transparency, simplification and explanation." - Andy Mitchell, President and CEO of Investment Funds Institute of Canada #financialplanning #wealth #IGWealthManagement #ific
