A few months ago, we at FlytBase initiated an experiment: building a community of B2B global startups based out of Pune. We realised while several startup events provide opportunities for founders/CXOs to network, we don’t come across enough opportunities for our functional leaders to meet their peers. For example, if the marketing heads of these global product startups were friends, they could reach out to their peers as and when they needed help, feedback or advice. Such a peer group could be powerful and help them learn from each other and be more effective in their respective roles.
