It’s been a busy few weeks between conferences, customer visits and one or two tenders so there has been little time to reflect on the addition of this great team and their strong capability and track record to the overall THREE60 ENERGY offering. Having started to work with Paul already and qualified what a great cultural fit and technical delivery focus exists between our now shared approach, it is clear that the acquisition will only act to enhance and broaden what we can deliver while providing further benefits to our customers that are not offered elsewhere. And importantly with proven and unique capability across #Subsurface, #Wells, #Subsea, #EPCC, #Operations and #ProductSolutions I can’t wait to see where our conversations and customer discussions take us! Electrification remains a top priority for the Norwegian government when it comes to cutting emissions from offshore platforms, and this analysis from Welligence Energy Analytics shows why. However, this approach could prove more challenging in the coming years. Smaller political parties and local communities are increasingly concerned about the risk of higher electricity prices due to increased demand from the oil and gas sector as well as new proposed projects, such as ammonia production or data centers. Offshore wind could become a win-win alternative, if and when the issues associated with costs, supply chain disruptions and government support are adressed.
