For this, we had the pleasure of interviewing Guy Varon at POLYMERTAL, a dynamic company at the forefront of developing innovative replacement materials for metals. 1. Introduce your company in two sentences. Polymertal is a sustainable alternative to metal. Our products are 50% lighter and 60% more sustainable than lightweight metals such as Aluminium. We design, develop and manufacture components for the automotive, aerospace and semiconductor industries. 2. What solution are you offering? Our solutions come in many shapes and sizes from EMI (electro-magnetic interferences) shielding cases to oil tanks, antennas and heat shields. Polymertalโs offering is relevant for many industries and provides a cost-effective and sustainable methods to replace traditional metal components. 3. What are you expecting from the Landing Pad? We hope to receive the needed business opportunities to expand our reach into Germany and Hamburg. 4. What are your plans in Hamburg / Germany? Our plans are to initially localize in Hamburg for sales and marketing purposes. Later, we will want to partner with a plastics manufacturer to set up a local manufacturing facility.
