It's time for our next NDT4INDUSTRY online seminar! This time in focus: Testing carbon fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP). 🔎 Carbon fibre-reinforced components are used for highly stressed structures, not only because of their comparatively low weight, but above all because of their high strength. These include containers and pressure vessels as well as vehicle components or support structures. Whether in environmental, energy or process engineering: the monitoring of carbon-reinforced components in critical systems or processes enables weak points to be identified at an early stage, thus reducing downtimes, increasing employee safety and sustainably reducing operating costs. To this end, we develop automated testing and monitoring technologies based on ultrasonics and eddy current to detect manufacturing defects. As part of Composites United's Webseminar Wednesday, our experts will be presenting systems for testing multiaxial high-performance carbon fiber fabrics (NCF) in full production width or the non-destructive testing and permanent monitoring of H2 pressure vessels, for example. 🚩 From fiber to component – Current testing and monitoring techniques for CFRP 📅 September 18, 2024, 9:00 a.m. CEST 💶 Free of charge Further information and registration can be found here 👉 https://bit.ly/3pdR3EY #cfrp #composites #monitoring #ultrasonics #ndt
