5% to Charity I care about what you care about, and I'm putting my money where your heart is! I'm donating 5% of every commission to each client's favorite charity. Showcasing Ariel and James's Choice - PAWS Ariel and James and I have many mutual friends through my partner's work. We've vacationed together and they've talked about buying a home for a while. We set up exploration for about a year and they checked out many areas and types of homes. They were finally ready to buy a few months ago and we started touring. We found a great house in Monroe which they love! When I asked them which charity they would like me support they chose PAWS, a non-profit charity located in Snohomish County. PAWS is people helping cats, dogs and wild animals go home and thrive – whether home is the family room or the forest. They do this by rehabilitating orphaned and injured wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating the community to inspire compassionate action for animals. Happy National Guide Dog Month! Did you know that training a guide or helper dog for service requires extensive preparation? It costs about $50,000 to cover all the necessary expenses, but these services are provided at no cost to those in need. National Guide Dog Month aims to raise awareness of the significant assistance guide dogs offer to visually or physically impaired individuals and to raise funds to provide guide dogs to everyone who requires them. This month, let's show our appreciation for guide dogs by taking some time to learn more about them. You can also help out by donating to your local guide dog organization or volunteering to spend time training guide dogs. Together, we can make a difference!
