As we continue to acknowledge the winners from the 2024 MPA Skills and Ascora Plumbing Industry Training Awards Night held on Saturday, 10 August 2024, we are pleased to highlight the recipient of a special honor: the 2024 Stuart Henry Plumbing Industry Service Award. This prestigious award was presented to an individual who needs no introduction within the Australian plumbing industry - Stephen Movley. Stephen began his career in the plumbing industry at the age of 15, when he began a five-year apprenticeship with his father in 1957. Over the years, he has held many influential positions, including Secretary/CEO of The Institute of Plumbing Australia Inc, member of the World Plumbing Council, and member of AHSCA WA Chapter, among many others. These voluntary positions highlight the immense effort required to advance plumbing standards, regulations, and codes, all aimed at achieving world-class protection of public health and the environment. #mpaskillsawards2024
