🌟 Celebrating Latina Resilience and Entrepreneurial Spirit during Hispanic Heritage Month! 🌟 I can’t say I celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, rather I celebrate my Latina heritage daily. The fact I have ventured off the beaten path, followed my dreams, and am working towards leaving a new legacy for myself, my family, and generations to come. We all have the chance to write a new story and break through new barriers.
🎉 As a proud Latina entrepreneur, I am thrilled to represent our vibrant community, delivering a keynote at the Small Business Expo in Dallas on October 12th. It's an opportunity to showcase our success stories, share our journeys, and inspire others to rise above adversity.
💫 Did you know? The National Women's Law Center's research shows Hispanic women in full-time jobs make just 57 cents for every dollar white, non-Hispanic men earn. That translates to a loss of nearly $1.2 million over a 40-year career.
💪 Despite systemic challenges, Latina entrepreneurs are a force to be reckoned with-- we are starting businesses at a rate higher than the national average. Although Latino entrepreneurs in the United States are starting more businesses per capita than any other racial group, according to a McKinsey & Company study, they receive less than their white counterparts on all types of business-related funding. Latina founders run nearly 2 million businesses across the country, but receive less than 2% of venture capital funds. — Forbes
💫 Let's unite and amplify our voices, breaking barriers and advocating for an inclusive entrepreneurial landscape. Every success we achieve is a step toward empowering the next generation, proving that we can overcome any obstacle with resilience, determination, and unwavering community support.
🌟 If you are in Dallas, please join me at the Small Business Expo as we celebrate diversity, innovation, and the tenacity that propels us forward. Together, we can create a world where every dream, regardless of background, has the opportunity to flourish.
💪 Proud Latina, proud daughter of immigrants, proud to carve a new future.
