Over 20 years experience I still see things that surprise/confuse me. Timeline: 25 Feb 24- Quote new auto 27 Feb 24- Bind new auto and pull MVR- 1 minor conviction from Jan 24 28 Feb 24- New auto policy printed 25 Mar 25- Insured sends me 3 year Driver History report current dated- no conviction Call insured to ask what we do when this happens. Underwriter tells me to pull a new MVR. Pulled the new MVR- no conviction. In the end we re-issued the policy conviction free. Has anyone ever seen a magically vanishing conviction before?
