Hello, I often hear in the speeches around us, in the media... When discussing an anarchic or chaotic situation, people refer to the jungle, but this is incorrect. Please stop comparing anarchy to an environment as well-organized as the jungle. The jungle is a vibrant, well-organized ecosystem. Every plant or animal is useful and contributes to the balance of various ecosystems. In the jungle, every plant has its place and space to proliferate. Every animal has its well-defined territory. There is a very well-organized food chain: when a carnivore is hungry, it captures only the prey it needs for survival; you never see a carnivore capture one prey and then move on to another out of pleasure. In the end, even the animals' waste is broken down and cleaned up. So please, stop comparing anarchy to the jungle.

Experience has shown that hatching chicks that are left longer than 50 hours, become too fatigued to complete the hatching process, at which point assisted hatching will need to take place. SANCCOB is the only organisation in the world, capable of artificially incubating wild-origin African penguin eggs, and hand-rearing the hatched chicks for release back into the wild, thus promoting the propagation of this highly endangered species. 💙 A shark's egg! 🦈 You've probably come across a shark egg before, but you might not be aware of how varied the colours and forms can be. Few shark species are able to utilise oviparity, or the ability to lay eggs, because the majority of sharks are viviparous, meaning that the eggs develop inside the mother. The pups are entirely dependent on the weather and other predators once the sharks lay their eggs. How would you respond if you came across a shark egg? Would you put it back in the water, bring it to the closest institution for research, or try to raise your own shark? #Marine #Sustainability #Biodiversity #letsconnect #shark #nature #life
