Three qualities that I believe are most important to develop in your career: 1️⃣ Being okay with the worst possible outcome. If you know that you will be okay no matter what, and don’t allow barriers or restrictions to get in your way, you’ll be able to navigate the ups and downs that come with building a career. 2️⃣ Use Your Voice. Don’t allow your silent participation in discussions to lead others to think that you agree with the dialogue. Stay true to what’s important to you and express your opinion. 3️⃣ Be the author of how you will be remembered. Your narrative is your story. Happy St. David's Day - Do the little things in life. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 St. David's Day (a day where those from Wales celebrate their heritage) has always held a special place in my heart wherever I've been living and working in the world.     As I sit here writing this post, I can see a view of Wales from my office window; it's the closest I've lived to my homeland, my anchor, and the country that has formed many aspects of my identity in over twenty years.    Owning who you are and where you have been on your leadership journey is critical to defining your authentic leadership voice. In this space, you feel your strongest, most fulfilled self, however bumpy a ride you have been on.    Seeing yourself through all the phases you've lived helps you to connect how your experiences have brought you to where you are today. So, let's celebrate the good, the bad and the ugly of what has brought you to this point. The next step is embracing and prioritising what will take you forward.     Leadership effectiveness is not about fundamentally changing who you are but enhancing what makes you you!    Today, I'll be enjoying a Welsh cake, raising a glass to my heritage, and remembering St. David's often-quoted last words;  ‘Gwnewch y pethau bychain mewn bywyd’   Do the little things in life. #stdavidsday #wales #leadershipidentity #leadershipimpact
