A flash from the past--- and the future... 🚙 That's the Power of (No) Love --- for trademark fans, and if you know you what I am talking about you are likely going "Back to the Future".... or perhaps court! In recent events related to the iconic and well known "DeLorean" trademark - (and famed time machine) NBCU has failed to convince the judge that it did not infringe DeLorean Motor Co's trademarks, and now it's a not so smooth ride for the trial on the trademark claims.     Hello Trademark Fans! The Rolling Stones.... I didn't see them at the reception... but, at SoFi Stadium. And their words hold true for trademarks as well... "You can't always get what you want". But in the case of IP they did ----and in the US they have several registrations (under their Netherland's corporate org: MUSIDOR B.V.). Interestingly Mick Jagger's name is the only member of the band that is registered. The famous lips and tongue filed 1976!... date of first use...April 30, 1971. Registration No. 1071347. Note: This was their 60th year playing in LA. So, perhaps, want and need to sometimes converge on IP--> and of course legendary music. And....Who knew AARP would find this brand so appealing to sponsor the tour ? But on brand when the tunes are being belted out by an  octogenarian. So, yes, your brand changes as you do!
