One of my goals for Q4 last year was list building. Here's what I did to add over 500 people to my list in seven days. I've been hesitant to participate in bundles for a long time. One of the reasons is that I'm not into the pay-to-play model (it's ok if you are, it's just not for me). But, something about this particular bundle caught my eye and, while there was an upgrade option available, there was no fee required to participate. I thought, “What's the worst that can happen?” And, I threw my hat in the ring. Bundles can be great, but the reason that I saw such success was absolutely my strategy. I put a great deal of thought and energy behind it because the most important thing is having a strategy in place that makes the newbies on your list want to stick and stay.
