It’s the human condition to want to hold on to stability right? To have concrete plans that ensure our safety and status. But we don't always have to be striving to move forwards in life. It’s ok to rest for a while. Just to enjoy exactly where we are right now. It's not easy to slow down. Enjoying the in-between doesn't come naturally to us. Our qualified therapists are here to support you with that: https://lnkd.in/eMwmYt5x #Stress #Therapy #MentalHealth
Such an important point and such a critical reframe. When we can be with the uncertainty in the in-between bits...there's so much more possibility.

3wWhat I learnt about myself recently, during a period of significant changes in all areas of my life, was that I have an extraordinary reliance in my head of things BEING stable, fixed and secure. I don't know why I think this, but actually I had a light bulb moment and realised that everything is unstable, and this surprisingly made me feel a lot calmer. The illusion of stability is more troublesome! I feel that knowing this has really helped me to understand and cope with the changes that happen almost continually in my work and personal life.
