One of the most powerful resources we have at our disposal is each other. Spending time and sharing space together with other humans is as important as the work we do on our own growth and development. This isn’t just an emotional or mental thing, but it is actually a physiological need, which can strengthen and aid with nervous system regulation and decompression, as well as alleviate a variety of symptoms. Join us for a series of workshops on grief and relationships that will allow us to explore all sides of our human experiences: https://lnkd.in/gKNwjMRt #Grief #Relationships

"For many trauma survivors the body can feel like an unsafe space to be, especially when you come face to face with activating triggers. How do you respond when confronted by stressful life experiences? Do you panic? Do you numb out? Perhaps you vacillate between the two? Trauma can cause your Window of Tolerance to shrink, that is your ability to calmly and efficiently respond to everyday life without additional emotional stress. This means your responses to the demands of life result in either a hypoactive (“freeze”) response or a hyperactive (“fight or flight”) response. This chart displays signs that you may be expiring either Hyper or Hypo Response Arousel. Working with a therapist can help you regulate your emotional responses. Through healing, you can begin to regulate these responses with greater ease." #healingjourney #psychoeducation #healing #healingispossible #panic #bpd #mentalhealth #somaticexperiencing

When we slow down things can be a bit more clear and making the right decisions can be easier. If you feel overwhelmed, take a moment, a few deep breaths, use positive self talk to reset your mental state, and just be. #completebalancept #healthylifestyletips #pelvichealth #womenspelvichealth #pelvicfloor #diseaseprevention #holistichealth

The Grindset isn’t just exhausting—it’s destructive. It wreaks havoc on physical and mental health, erodes relationships, and paradoxically, often leads to a decline in the quality and effectiveness of our work. It’s a cycle that is anything but sustainable. This is an excerpt from our Partner @Brad Hook "What Is the Grindset and How Do I Overcome It?" recent article available here 👉 https://swll.to/GOPdtp #PerformanceWithCare
