So taking the time to map out all the content your ideal clients will LOVE is key. Here’s how: 1) Talk to your existing clients and ask them what they’d love to see more of from you on social 2) Think back to a time recently when you made a real difference with a client – share the advice, the anecdote in a post today – if it helps one other person, it’s worth it right? 3) Focus on an area of social media management you find tricky and find a way to get someone else to support you – be it Canva templates for your creative, how to use AI to support with your captions, or someone to schedule the actual post. 4) Get comfortable with video. The answer you may not agree with... A lot of us put pressure on ourselves to post on our socials every. single. day. -> But is this REALLY necessary? As a social media manager I think that the idea that you must post daily can be misleading and, in some cases, counterproductive.💁🏻♀️ Here's why: 👉🏻Quality Over Quantity: Posting every day can lead to a drop in the quality of your content. It's better to focus on creating valuable, engaging posts that resonate with your audience rather than churning out content just to meet a daily quota. 👉🏻Algorithm Impact: Social media algorithms prioritise content that receives high engagement. Posting less frequently with more impactful content can result in better performance than posting daily with mediocre engagement. 👉🏻Resource Management: Especially for small businesses or solo entrepreneurs, creating high-quality daily content can be resource-intensive and unsustainable. It's important to balance your efforts with the resources available to you. 👉🏻Strategic Posting: Analyse your audience's behavior and engagement patterns. You might find that posting 3-4 times a week at optimal times can yield better results than daily posts. Use analytics to refine your posting schedule and content strategy! MY TAKE: daily posting is not a necessity. Focus on quality, strategic timing, and audience engagement to achieve the best results on social media. Instagram keeps my revenue above $100,000 per month. For the last 10 years, I’ve mastered how to get leads and sales on IG with these 3 steps: PS… this has been proven on 1000 coaching/service businesses, so pause for 2 minutes and let’s install this Instagram system into your biz, too. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 If someone landed on your IG profile, could they understand what you do in 3 seconds or less? For 99% of people, nope. Most people’s bios are all about them and not about the audience. Think about your profile as your virtual CV. It should say: Helping X achieve Y [so that when X people land on your profile they’re like “YES THIS IS ME!” Don’t try to be smart. Make it simple for this low attention span world. 𝗗𝗠/𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 To win with Instagram at scale, you *must* use automation. No, not the spammy automations which are banned by Instagram and mass DM people/view stories. You’ll lose your account if you do that. Instead, have an auto reply which allows your followers to buy when they message you or comment on your post. Plus, have automated follow up so you don’t need a huge and stressful team of setters. We use a system called MyScaleSystems and if you comment “REPLAY” on any of my IG posts, @laurentickner, you’ll see it in action. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 Continuing on from the bio, you should have a call to action right there such as: DM me “INFO” to learn how. Plus, putting call to actions in 80% of your captions is not “spammy,” it’s how you make sales. A lot of people find your posts for the first time, not your profile. So, if you don’t have a CTA in your best content… Not only may they forget to follow you. But they may have also wanted more but you weren’t offering it so they didn’t ask. A lot of people don’t reply to comments on IG so many people are used to being ignored which is why you need to be the first mover and tell people clearly to do XYZ. I like Comment or DM CTAs the best since they increase engagement… More comments = more engagement which pushes that post out to more people AND more DMs = more profile visits (because they have to go to your profile to DM you) which = more engagement which also signals to the algorithm that your post should be pushed out to more people I’m gonna do my next post on how to vary your CTAs so you don’t dry up your audience so make sure you’re following my IG if you aren’t already! @laurentickner

Who else loves a good framework? Having the steps already laid out makes starting off so much easier. Here’s my simple framework for getting started with social media marketing. 1. Know your goal: What you want to achieve? Knowing this will guide every step you take and you’ll also know what to measure. 2. Know your audience (really well): Make sure you’ve researched and identified who they are, what they like, and where they are online. 3. Compelling content: Create content that meets your audience’s needs and answers their questions. Always use a mixture of content types to see which one works for them. 4. Make a schedule: Develop a posting schedule that works for you and stick to it. Make sure you also plan time for you to develop the content you need. 5.
