The Boston Tea Party marked a turning point in Colonial American-British relations, triggering a sequence of events that ultimately led to the American Revolutionary War. This act of defiance resonated deeply across the American colonies. At the heart of the conflict was the tea leaf, a commodity shipped to Britain and its colonies by the formidable British East India Company. As the world's largest corporation of its time, the British East India Company wielded not just economic influence but also increasingly acted as an imperial force in its own right. ***link to episode in comments below*** Fancy: Flavor Wave Fresh, Buck Naked Onions, Noble Citrus, Owyhee Produce, Summer Citrus from South Africa, John Greene Logistics Company, and Peak of the Market Ltd. #innovation #freshproduce #freshfood #fruit #freshfruit #freshvegetables #freshfruits #produceindustry #fruitsandveggies #foodsafety #producelife #farming #farmlife #veggies #marketing #consumer #onions #waterforall #people #leaders #video #creative #sustainableagriculture #sustainability #packagingsolutions #packagingindustry #packaging #agriculture

According to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, “German food culture is changing. The number of vegans is growing, and more than half of the population wants to reduce meat consumption, considering themselves flexitarian. This makes Germany one of the most important markets for plant-based food worldwide with good opportunities for U.S. exporters.” Given this, I expect more sympathy and empathy from Germany towards “human animals” to be saved. It is meant to be ironic – given the ridiculous support Germany provides to Israel and the vegan selections and choice it makes available for its people. https://lnkd.in/ePMtFfSP

To get a deeper understanding of the world's emerging Tech and AI divide. Lets explore the Cold Chain. I.e the logistics chain for temperature controlled shipping and transportation... The best example is the End2End Value chain for fresh produce. Data and AI will play a pivotal role to make this more efficient. But this Value chain fuelled by data and AI needs to work from the Farmer to the Shelves. We in the "west" need to think about this End2End... Or we will increase the AI-divide... And ultimatley be the instigators of AI-apartheid... And this can never be accepted as AI for good... And in the long run. It will not create a sustainable society... History tells us what comes after a divide gets too big.. And only the few have the benefit. We do not want to go there. The current EU AI-act has in no way at all considered this angle. It "protects" EUROPE towards the advanced nations and players. But is does not consider our role towards developing countries. If it did it would promote technology innovation that is open source. It would consider oher topics than the ones currently in scope. We are blinded to some angles becauce we put all our attention on some specific topics... This CAN lead to unintended consequences not even considered... Dairdux AI After Work (AIAW) Podcast
