We are honoured to live, work, and play on the traditional lands and waters of the Hupacasath and Tseshaht First Nations Peoples. We join in celebrating Canada’s National Indigenous People’s Day, acknowledging our history and our bright future together.
We're proud of our shared community and partnerships with Tseshaht First Nation , Hupačasath First Nation , Huu-ay-aht First Nations , Uchucklesaht Tribe and the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council.
Our new logo includes a symbol of a salmon, this image was commissioned by local artist Tia Dudoward and is particularly meaningful as it embodies the notion that we are all one and connected.
Tia is a new artist and thought this would be a great opportunity to get her work out there. She is originally from Lax Kw’alaams (Prince Rupert) and has been living in the Alberni Valley for the past 14 years.
Thanks to Tia for creating this image for us, we are so grateful for her beautiful artwork in our new branding. It is reflecting our commitment to unity and collaboration within our community and beyond.
